One of our most enjoyable recent projects was the Azure Abode. This remodel was primarily lipstick updates, but the transformation was extremely impactful. Our client's family is just coming out of the "small children" phase and were ready to have a more elevated, adult-comfortable home.
FORMAL LIVING ROOM - AKA ADULT HANG SPOT
This space was formerly a catch all that no one in the family could really enjoy - the goal was to make a space for the adults to truly appreciate and enjoy for entertaining, reading or a date night in...
The Formal Living Room was transformed into what we so casually call the "Adult Hang Spot". Liquor cabinet and more elevated furnishings were a must, but they didn't want it to feel stuffy. The combination of the stunning wall treatment (painted in Sherwin Williams Slate Tile - SW 7624) with warm furnishings & beautiful vintage-style rug, this room quickly went from the room to hold the junk, to their favorite space in the home to relax & enjoy eachothers' company.

KITCHEN
The Azure Abode kitchen was extremely transformative in the smartest way possible. When I entered the space the first time, I was SO excited because it already had an amazing layout - it just needed a little "lipstick", if you will. By bringing the island down to one level, updating the backsplash, countertops, lighting and adding some color by painting the cabinets, the space went from dull and boring to inviting and STUNNING.
The Solis Honed Marble Blend Mosaic Tile Backsplash by Bedrosians Tile & Stone combined with Sherwin Williams Slate Tile (SW 7624) color on the cabinet made the space inviting, clean and elevated.

FIREPLACE
Like the rest of the main living areas, the bones were there for beauty - the fireplace just needed a little facelift! By swapping their builder-grade tile for this beautiful Arcosia matte black tile & adding a new faux wood mantle & shiplap - this fireplace turned into a showstopper.

DINING ROOM
Lastly, the dining room at the Azure Abode had such an opportunity for beauty & elegance. With visibility into the Adult Hang Spot & Kitchen from this space, we wanted to tie it all together with a pretty little bow by complementing the colors, but not being too matchy-matchy. We added a stunning scalloped wallpaper and glam chandelier to make an impact as you enter the space. By styling the space with greenery & natural elements, this dining room feels inviting & warm.
